Man Jailed for Selling Hot Dogs – With Real Dog

Morocco: A man who was caught selling hot dogs made with dog meat rather than beef has been fined 10,000 dirhams ($1,820) and sentenced to six years in prison by a Casablanca court.
In order to sell the extremely literal hot dogs the man put chemicals into the dog meat so that customers wouldn’t notice a difference in appearance or smell.
Four other men convicted in relation to the received sentences ranging from four years down to eight months. They reportedly hunted and killed the dogs that went into the hot dogs.(Read more)
